Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local servers, including Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure using Cisco equipment.
- Perform regular system backups and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, RHCE, or CompTIA Security+) preferred.
