Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration of Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments, including patching, updates, and performance tuning.
- Cloud Integration: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure, managing virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access controls (IAM) to safeguard sensitive data.
- Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual errors.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test robust backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration records.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions.
- Scripting: Expert knowledge of PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation.
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Active Directory services.
- Cloud: Certification in AWS (Solution Architect) or Azure is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
