Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software, ensuring high-speed connectivity.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee daily backups, disaster recovery planning, and data integrity procedures.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshooting for internal employees.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure optimal uptime (99.9% SLA).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft MCSA, or CCNA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
