Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to safeguard data integrity.
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning for optimal efficiency.
- Automate routine IT tasks and scripts to improve operational workflows and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and integrate new software and hardware solutions.
- Monitor system health through dashboards and alerts, responding proactively to potential outages.
- Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery drills, and audits to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory services.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat/CentOS preferred).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
