Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux/Windows).
- Monitor system health, performance, and security to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to deploy updates and patches efficiently.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Proficiency in scripting and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
