Responsibilities
- Server Management: Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server environments (Linux and Windows Server).
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures efficiently.
- User Support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support and training to internal staff and clients.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure data integrity.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automations to improve system efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee backup strategies and ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or higher is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
