Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for enterprise clients.
- Oversee server administration for Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline IT operations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system outages and performance issues.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is highly preferred.
