Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk; resolve incidents proactively
- Automate deployment and configuration with Ansible/Terraform for efficiency
- Document infrastructure, policies, and disaster recovery procedures
- Lead cross-functional projects for system upgrades and migrations
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex technical issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) required
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
