Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and switches.
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to deploy and manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Perform regular system audits, patch management, and vulnerability assessments to adhere to compliance standards.
- Lead incident response efforts for critical system outages and provide 24/7 on-call support rotation.
- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and Windows Server management.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCE, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP) and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
