Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Administer Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies to ensure secure access control.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python/Bash) to streamline routine IT tasks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and resolve complex system issues.
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address potential outages.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- CompTIA Security+ or CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
