Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of on-premise Windows and Linux servers.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and ensure seamless hybrid cloud transitions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and resolve hardware/software incidents with minimal downtime.
- Automation: Develop scripts (Python/Bash) to automate routine tasks, streamline deployment processes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Backup & Recovery: Establish and verify data backup strategies to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and VLANs.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
