Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, including VPC setup, EC2 instances, and storage solutions.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls (IAM).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues and system failures, providing 24/7 on-call support as needed.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
