Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cloud Solutions: Manage and optimize AWS and Azure cloud resources, including IAM policies, EC2 instances, and S3 storage buckets.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR/NIST).
- Automation: Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues, VPN configurations, and firewall rules.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the DevOps team to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration between development and production environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Identity Management: Strong proficiency with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and Azure AD Connect.
- Scripting: Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python for automation.
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Network+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
