We're seeking a Senior System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our hybrid cloud environment. You'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring 99.99% uptime while optimizing performance across Linux/Windows systems. Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with Terraform
- Manage 500+ endpoints including Linux servers, Active Directory, and VMware environments
- Implement security protocols (SOC2, HIPAA) and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Automate workflows using Python/Ansible for patch management and deployment
- Lead incident response with PagerDuty integration (SLA: <15min)
- Optimize network performance using Cisco/Aruba technologies
- Mentor junior administrators and document SOPs in Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect)
- Proficient in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible/Chef)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and security best practices
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Ability to lift 30lbs for hardware maintenance
