Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure Windows/Linux server environments using Active Directory and Azure AD
- Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, and RDS with Terraform automation
- Monitor system performance with Zabbix and Splunk, proactively resolving incidents
- Lead disaster recovery testing and documentation for HIPAA-compliant environments
- Onboard new employees with hardware provisioning and software configuration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Proficient with AWS services (EC2, VPC, CloudWatch) and scripting in Python/PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for hardware maintenance tasks
