Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments
- Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems
- Oversee backup/recovery solutions and disaster planning
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Document system configurations and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability remediation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows Server 2016/2019
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools and ITIL processes
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
