Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including EC2, S3, VPC, and Azure AD with IaC tools like Terraform
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Splunk to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Execute security protocols including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) and security best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent IT service management experience
