Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS with EC2, S3, and RDS services
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance metrics
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance with SOX standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture patterns
- Certifications (CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and communication skills
