Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu Linux environments
- Manage Azure cloud services including VMs, Active Directory, and Azure AD
- Oversee network infrastructure including Cisco switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Ansible for routine tasks
- Ensure 99.9% system uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management
- Strong Azure certification (AZ-104 or AZ-140 preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and containerization (Docker)
- Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and security best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with complex multi-tier systems
