Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Linux/Windows) across hybrid cloud environments
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk, proactively addressing performance bottlenecks
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Automate administrative tasks using Python/Ansible to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP services, and enterprise backup solutions
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code
- Document system architecture and create comprehensive runbooks for disaster recovery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise system administration
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux/Windows Server administration and virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
