The Role
You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our server and network systems. We value innovation and efficiency, so your ability to automate routine tasks and optimize system performance will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server environments (Windows Server and Linux).
- Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewall management and intrusion detection.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute incident response procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Certifications such as MCSE, CompTIA Linux+, or AWS Solutions Architect preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
