Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud/on-premise infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
- Proactively monitor system health and security posture using tools like Nagios, Splunk, and Qualys
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patches/upgrades with zero downtime
- Automate workflows via Python/PowerShell and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document SOPs and provide tier-3 support for escalated technical issues
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across multi-cloud environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) and security best practices
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Security+ preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus) and ticketing systems (Jira)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
