Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup/restoration procedures
- Automate routine tasks using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents
- Document infrastructure architecture and SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert-level proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, VPC, Azure AD)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent, with AWS/Azure certifications preferred
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and server issues
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
