Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure including AWS/Azure deployments and hybrid cloud solutions
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Automate system monitoring and maintenance using Ansible/Terraform
- Mentor junior IT staff and document technical procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience acceptable)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure and/or CompTIA/Linux/Windows Server
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Proven track record in high-availability system design
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis capabilities
