Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate routine tasks using Ansible/Puppet
- Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and VPN solutions
- Ensure data security through regular audits, patch management, and compliance with NIST standards
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server (2016/2019)
- VMware vSphere certification or equivalent virtualization experience
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network administration certification
- Experience with cloud migration projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
