Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk with proactive issue resolution
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup/restoration procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment requirements
- Document system architecture and create comprehensive technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proven experience with AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid networking
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex system issues
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
