Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Implement and optimize network security protocols (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) to protect enterprise assets
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise storage solutions
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system restoration procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expert knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent, with CCNA/Cybersecurity+ preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong background in network security principles and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with enterprise hardware/software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
