Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Automate infrastructure tasks using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead disaster recovery planning and 24/7 incident response rotations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document SOPs and conduct quarterly infrastructure audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid/cloud experience
- Expert-level certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- BS in Computer Science or related field
