Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server environments and Linux systems.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to safeguard sensitive organizational data.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Lead server migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime during transitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator in a Windows/Linux hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy management, and identity management.
- Expert knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
