Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of on-premise servers (Windows Server 2019/2022) and Linux environments.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and switching protocols.
- Administer and secure Active Directory environments, managing user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to enhance system efficiency.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless cloud migration and management (AWS/Azure).
- Monitor system performance metrics, analyze logs, and proactively resolve hardware or software issues.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Proficiency in scripting for automation and configuration management.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is a strong plus.
