Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure with zero tolerance for downtime
- Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks
- Lead security initiatives including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance audits
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents and coordinate cross-functional resolutions
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration management in Git/SaltStack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Expert-level knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator preferred
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to resolve critical outages
