Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Manage and secure Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Kubernetes)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute proactive system monitoring/alerting
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-as-code initiatives (Terraform)
- Mentor junior staff and document system architecture/protocols
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience in hybrid cloud environments
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, AD, VNet)
- Proven track record in infrastructure scaling and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving skills with enterprise-level incident response
- BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
