Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and ensure 99.9% uptime SLA compliance
- Diagnose and resolve critical system incidents with minimal business disruption
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Certification in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM frameworks
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Ability to work flexible hours during system maintenance windows
