Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix; proactively resolve issues
- Execute backup/recovery procedures and ensure data integrity compliance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent AWS/Azure certification
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure automation
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
