Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Oversee network architecture, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime and implement robust disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment pipelines.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
- Document all system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
