Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments
- Oversee AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, and VPC configurations
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible and Terraform
- Manage network security protocols and threat detection systems
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex infrastructure issues
- Document system architectures and compliance procedures
- Lead system upgrade projects while minimizing service disruption
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- Strong AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect)
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours on-call rotation
