Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and Active Directory
- Implement and monitor network security protocols including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with emphasis on cost optimization
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and Python
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certifications
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
