Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and VMware virtualization environments
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Design, deploy, and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid systems
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Document IT policies, procedures, and system architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies
- Strong knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, CCNA, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
