Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response protocols
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document systems architecture and create SOPs
- Ensure compliance with NIST and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+)
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
