We're seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage our hybrid cloud environment and ensure 99.9% uptime for enterprise clients. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server/Linux environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies for 500+ endpoints
- Monitor system performance using Splunk/Nagios and proactively resolve infrastructure issues
- Execute disaster recovery testing and maintain backup/DR solutions (Veeam, Zerto)
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with security team to harden systems and maintain compliance (NIST, SOC2)
- Document infrastructure changes and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or AWS SysOps Administrator
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation
