Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/Ansible/Terraform
- Manage virtual environments (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex network and system issues
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
