Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Provide Tier 3 support for network issues involving routers, switches, and firewalls
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document infrastructure configurations and troubleshoot complex system failures
- Collaborate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for hybrid solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux distributions (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- CCNA or equivalent network certification required
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS models
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and handle emergency incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
