Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments
- Implement and monitor network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and failover procedures
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for compliance
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex infrastructure incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Strong troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis expertise
