Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) environments
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS with emphasis on EC2, S3, and RDS services
- Design disaster recovery solutions and conduct regular system backups
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell
- Provide tier-3 support for complex network and system issues
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Proficiency with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotation
