Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and proactive maintenance
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
- Certifications (CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
