Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure, and on-premises data centers
- Lead server administration across Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization using VMware vSphere and Proxmox
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Monitor system health using Nagios, Zabbix, and Datadog
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execute business continuity drills
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
- Document IT infrastructure using Confluence and Lucidchart
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Advanced Linux administration skills with scripting capabilities
- Cloud architecture certification (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLAN)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis methodology
