Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premise and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewall configurations and access controls
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN systems for seamless network operations
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response coordination
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019)
- Proficiency with Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu) and shell scripting
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware)
- Experience with enterprise networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
- Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, MCSA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
