Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize Windows/Linux server environments using Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network/storage issues and capacity planning
- Lead disaster recovery initiatives and compliance audits (SOX, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior administrators and document technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in enterprise-level virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure AZ-104
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, Zabbix)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid environments
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
