Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ users
- Manage Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure including VMs, containers, and network security groups
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance with SolarWinds and Splunk, proactively resolving issues
- Implement cybersecurity best practices including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning initiatives
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for team scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years systems administration)
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud architecture and multi-site network management
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise backup solutions
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network protocols and system diagnostics
