Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk; proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Support 500+ users with enterprise-level desktop/laptop administration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker/K8s)
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking fundamentals
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) strongly preferred
- Proven experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures
- Advanced scripting abilities (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with complex system issues
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
